I was a bit skeptic about the future of SUN hardware and Solaris Operating System when Oracle acquired SUN, but this statement given by Oracle CEO Larry Ellison changed my views.
This advertisement makes a very clear statement about Oracle’s intentions and commitment to Sun technology and customers after the transaction closes.

This is in response to the IBM media which says to SUN customers “Don’t settle for an uncertain future.” and “HP To Sun Customers: We’ve Got Your Back”
